The appliance installer remains responsible for the electrical or gas connection; stone cutting and appliance installation are separate parts of the upgrade. Prices refer to the individual standard scope; combined jobs and unusual work are quoted separately. Cutting uses controlled wet-cutting methods. For cooktop work, the existing appliance must be disconnected and removed before arrival, with cupboards and drawers near the cutting area emptied.
