Scope and preparation
Once the price and scope are accepted, we need the full address, contact number and an agreed date and time. Western Sydney covers a large area, so the exact location matters for appointment planning. We confirm availability before booking and do not promise a same-day visit simply because an enquiry has been received. Cooktop replacement and sink cutting are distinct jobs The standard price for a cooktop or appliance cut-out enlargement is $690 + GST ($759 including GST). Standard sink cut-out work is also $690 + GST ($759 including GST).
Discussing your appointment
These are individual service prices, not a combined price for both alterations. Undermount edge finishing, structural changes, new fabrication or an uncertain scope should be identified and assessed separately. Preparing an occupied home or rental property The existing cooktop must be disconnected and removed before the cutting visit, and cupboards or drawers near the work area should be emptied. If a managing agent is arranging access, make sure the resident knows when work will take place and who is responsible for appliance reconnection. A stone-cutting appointment does not include unrelated electrical, gas or plumbing tasks.

When damage needs assessment rather than a standard price A minor chip repair has an established minimum call-out, but a crack crossing a slab or a surface marked by heat needs closer consideration. Clear photos help distinguish a small edge defect from a wider issue. Restoration involving burns, stains or sheen changes also needs the stone type and dimensions of every section. We would rather establish the correct treatment than quote an unsuitable polish that leaves a finish difference. For cooktop work, the existing appliance must be disconnected and removed before arrival, with cupboards and drawers near the cutting area emptied.
