The damage
This job involved two chips along the edge of an existing white Caesarstone benchtop. Both damaged areas interrupted the otherwise straight edge. The close-up before photographs show the small missing sections against the stone and cabinetry, giving a useful view of the shape that needed to be rebuilt.
The repair
We repaired both chips on site, matching the fill to the surrounding stone and shaping the repaired areas to follow the benchtop edge. White engineered stone needs attention to the colour and the finished profile because there is little pattern to distract the eye. The aim was to make each damaged section less noticeable and restore a cleaner edge.
The finished result
The after photographs show the repaired edges from slightly different viewpoints and in different lighting. The missing sections have been filled, with the repair blending into the surrounding white surface in these photographs. A colour-matched repair can still be visible at close range or under particular lighting; photos show this job’s result rather than a guarantee for every benchtop.
Have a similar chip?
Send a close-up of each damaged area, a wider photograph of the benchtop and your suburb. Include a ruler or another size reference and tell us the material if known. We can then confirm the number of chips, the repair scope and a written price before arranging the work.
